It was a perfect day for a party. Yeah Cassie. Below is Karen the mentor and JoAnn the cousin and in the middle the newest in the unbroken line of high school graduates since Ida Zastrow in 1899.

Somewhere in this mass of 380+ graduates is Cassandra. Three hours on a wooden indoor bleacher for the final time. (Half the time it took the pitocin to work) She completed her state required education. We no longer guide her world. She is already shaping it to her vision.

Here is my favorite all time flower. It is a wood trillium. They grow wild in the ditches and all over the woods in late May for a very short time. I have tried to grow (purchased) them in my garden . They do not thrive in a dometicated setting.
