March 20, 2008. The snow that brought us to the 2nd snowy-est season on record.

This is Good Friday 2008. My snow baby shamed every man on the block with their 25 HP turbocharged self propelled with all the whistles and bells snow blowers. She cleared the driveway with a shovel and the love of snow.

The next day Larry got into the act. The remaining pictures are from Saturday. Below is Cassie going out onto the 2nd floor porch because they ran out of snow to shovel on ground level. Yes, that is snow on the rug. Read on to see how Larry put it there.

This is a yard stick in the snow on the upstairs porch.

Here is the what happened. Larry put a 10 foot step ladder on the porch landing and climbed onto the upper porch. He shoveled in front of the door and let himself in and Cassie out. The snow on the rug was his doing. Above is the father daughter team.

The snow against the porch railing to the right, in the picture below, is the level it was before the shoveling began. I had errands to run. When I returned the basketball shots were in the camera. He had also made his way onto the roof and removed some weight from the house.

It has been a snowy Winter. It is March Madness. Nuff said.

Valentine's Rose

Easter break this year was a time to do celebrate what had passed since school started. This included a Valentine's day dinner out and the perfect rose.
